Updating procedures |

Uli Becker | Hi,
how do you update Stored Procedures on the client's machines? I wonder if there can be realized something like a version control for procedures. One idea would be to create a table that holds the name and the version of a procedure thus allowing a comparison when the application starts. But that seems to be a lot of work and not that reliable. Any ideas how to manage this are appreciated... Regards Uli |

Other than that, a comparison of the textual representation of the SQL/PSM code is the only other way. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
