Yavuz Ozdemir | Hi,
I read very carefully http://www.elevatesoft.com/newsgrp?action=searchopenmsg&group=16&msg=747&keywords=turkish*#msg747. This is very bad for us because indexed table show wrong order and locate function can not run. MS Excel successfully sort Turkish Collation, you can not. Maybe you can add a user defined event for compare string operation. Yavuz Ozdemir |

Yavuz Ozdemir | Dear Tım,
I migrated from Paradox Tables to ElevateDB Unicode 2.02 B11. Paradox collation is "Paradox Turk". Migration Collation is set to TRK. Migration module can not convert special Turkish letters. What can I do? "Tim Young [Elevate Software]" wrote: Yavuz, << I read very carefully http://www.elevatesoft.com/newsgrp?action=searchopenmsg&group=16&msg=747&keywords=turkish*#msg747. Yavuz Ozdemir | Yes, I set the Transliterate parameter to True. Migration
module can not convert special Turkish letters again. I write a new modul. The modul is prepare script from all BDE tables and insert all records to ElevateDb tables. The problem was solved. BTW, could you send me one of the Paradox tables that you're trying to migrate ? I'll see if I can work in the proper code page mapping into the migrator modules. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Yes, it was a bug - the Transliterate flag was not getting set properly, thus the output was code page-specific instead of using the ANSI code page. A fix will be in Build 12. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
