"Roy Jonker" | Our application was installed and run at least once) on a computer by a user
with admin rights. After switching on same computer to user without admin rights, starting our app, we get a #600 EDB error when trying to access the EDBLck file, which got parked somewhere in the ProgramData folder. #600 File Manager error, Access is Denied. Is there are way to get around this issue? RJ |

"Roy Jonker" | Cannot open file C:\ProgramData\MagicLogic\Cfg\CubeIQConfig.EDBLck.
Effectively the ConfigPath of the EDBEngine, with the engine's ConfigName, and then the EDBLck extension. Windows Vista. Windows Vista. >> Okay, you're going to need to modify the user rights for that folder and make sure that they are inherited by all files contained within the folder. Just make sure to give all users that require access to the data create/delete/read/write rights. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
