Yep, a CREATE TABLE LIKE combined with an INSERT INTO SELECT.... afterwards
would be a perfect fit.

Yes, and its always there for every application using the same configuration
file.  So, it's the same as DBISAM, but slightly better.

WITH INDICES

copies them from the original table, saves me the job. >>
