I have a slack handful of statements

 General.SQL.Text := ....
 General.ExecSQL;
 General.SQL.Text := ....
 General.ExecSQL;
 General.SQL.Text := ....
 General.ExecSQL;

And they work without closing them. Very nice.

What is the ... representing ?  Are you talking about not closing the single
quotes ?

Ahh, yes, it will work either way.  The ExecSQL will close the component
automatically, if necessary.
