Really deleting from EDBTables |
Wed, Oct 7 2009 4:26 AM | Permanent Link |
Edward Jones | I have just run a SQL DELETE statement on a table to wipe it but I see the size of the .EDBTbl file is still 302Mb even though there is "nothing" in it?
Is there anyway to really remove this data, the reason being that I am trying to create a blank data set to fit on a CD without zipping it, and at the moment the whole database is over 800Mb even though each of the tables is "empty"? Regards Edward Jones |

Edward Jones | Hi, thanks for the fast reply! I have now found the OPTIMIZE TABLE SQL command and have run it and that does the trick! Thanks again!
