It would have to be a configured option, if so.   Some configurations have
hundreds of databases in them.

However, there is another wrinkle to this, and this is I have no idea what
exact patterns of file reading/seeking/etc. that would need to be done in
order to get Windows to buffer the "correct" amount of data to benefit such
queries.  It may take an execution of the exact query in order to improve
the performance, in which case opening the tables alone won't help.

I was just thinking of creating a thread in the app.
