Is it possible yet to alter the attributes for a user without having to change anything else?

I know this has been requested sometime in the past.

Steve,

This may or may not be possible, once implemented.  I have to think through the consequences of doing so.  Right now the table properties are picked up during open when the shared open lock is acquired on the table (to prevent alteration).  So, it would probably result in some semi-weird behavior, such as having to close/re-open the table to pick up such catalog changes.  It's not necessarily a bad thing, of course.

Not a problem, no rush.  I was going to use the Attributes property of the system Users table to store some information but I'm going to do it a different way now.

Thanks.
