Thread Deploy module (.dll)

Hi,

I have seen that a EWB3 clientapp becomes visible in de servermanager if you deploy the clientapp.

But if I create a module (.dll) with Delphi then the .dll does not become visible in the servermanager. What can I do best?

1. Upload the .dll in the servermanager
2. Set the putput in Delphi to the modules folder the serverfolder

No 2 makes the most sense to me...

Enjoying trying EWB3,
Greetings,
Ronald

Thanks Raul,

I compile it the sourcefolder of my module in Delphi and then I upload the .dll to Files in the servermanager and then I installed it using Modules in the servermanager. That looks fine now.

Ronald,

Sorry for the late reply.

100% correct, and there's more information now in the manual about this:

https://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=ewb3&topic=Server_Modules

Also, here's the documentation on the file management portion of the administration API:

I think I'm going to try to squeeze in a console utility for deployment of files so that everyone can automate the deployment of native server modules, as well as general file uploads, etc.

What are the plans for providing this utility?
