<< I just installed B5 and tried to start IDE - did nothing else. I will test the cert again ..... >> Yeah, try to see what the "ewbcert localhost" execution says. It should say that the certificate is present. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

BTW, I still need to know if you're running as an Administrator vs. Normal user. Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | Here is what I did....... and I am working....
As normal user I ran ewbcert and localhost exists - I ran to remove and it siad it did - but testing again siad it was still there. So I ran command prompt as administrator and removed the cert and it was now removed. I uninstalled ewb 3. I reinstalled as a normal user. As a normal user ther cert is there. But when I start the IDE as normal user it fails. SO I restarted as Administrator - it worked. As normal user - fails. Starting As Administrator works. Walter |

Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | IDE running as Administrator - Server port 82 - but I can not run a simple Hello World.
Error loading server information from Internal: Error executing requet to http://localhost:82//authentication: the request timed out. Should there be 2 // after port 82? Walter |

<< But when I start the IDE as normal user it fails. >> Hmm, okay. I just tested this yesterday on a clean machine as a normal user, and it seemed to work fine. I'll have to go back and test it again. Thanks, Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Error loading server information from Internal: Error executing requet to http://localhost:82//authentication: the request timed out. Should there be 2 // after port 82? >> That was fixed in build 6 - it's just an issue with how EWB is building the path when there is a custom port. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
