ewbsrvr 3 setting up error |

kamran | Hello
EWB Server 3.00 setup issues : windows server 2016 ( I removed the EWBSRVR 2 first by ewbsrvr /uninstall ) 1. I installed a certificate using ewbcert as per instructions. That part installs ok. 2. I installed ewbsrvr using "ewbsrvr /install" in administrator mode from command prompt. When I check my windows server : in services and try to "start" the EWBSRVR service I get the following message. (see attached capture) Not sure why.. is that by design ? Anyway service is not running and should be at this point. Any ideas ? kamran Attachments: ewb3_server_error.jpg |

kamran | Hi Raul
I am using build 16 of the ewbsrvr 3 I tried to install ewbsrvr 3 (64 bit version and then 32 bit version) using "ewbsrvr /install" But both : when I try start the service comes up with an error as advised in my screen capture. I'm using same and service does work ok for me (tried 64-bit). Only things i cam suggest are : 1. Rename the ewbsrvr.ini and have it create a new one (normally in C:\ProgramData\Elevate Software\Elevate Web Builder 3 Web Server) just to make sure it's not an INI issue 2. Any chance something else is already using one of the ports ? Try changing INI to use alternate ports just to check if this is the issue for example us 8000 range in INI: Port=8080 Secure Port=8443 Raul |

kamran | Hi Raul
Changed the ports in ewbsrvr.ini file and set the inbound firewall rules accordingly. That fixed it and the ewbsrvr 3 service is now running. Thank you so much.
