Here is a sample application using EWB version 2 to show how to link
into Cordova (Phonegap) and do the following tasks:

Take photo or select existing image (as data or file path)
Check internet connection type
Read Geolocation

There appears to be a problem at the moment with taking a photo and
returning it as a saved file path on Android phones which I will look into.
