Android Version |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi,
I am developing an application using EWB that will run on smartphones and tablets. I know this application works on my Samsung Galaxy SII with Android version 4.02 and that it will not work on my 7" Galaxy Tablet running Android 2.2. Does anybody know if this is because of the Android version and if so what is the minimum Android version that I will need to run EWB applications on? -- Chris Holland [Team Elevate] |

Raul Team Elevate | Chris,
EWB does not have any direct dependence on Android OS but is really only dependent on the web browser. I'm not personally familiar enough with Android versions to know if the browser can be separately upgraded to latest version (i assume its Chrome browser under the covers). Are you getting an error or some other indication when its not working? Might be useful to post details so for Tim to see if it's possible to have a workaround in this case. Gerald J. Clancy, Jr. | Chris, just a point of clarification. You downloaded Firefox to your
smartphone? I have a Motorola Droid 4 (which does use a Chrome version for a browser) and would be interested in how you did that.) Raul Team Elevate | Jerry,
I assume he just installed the Firefox browser app from Google play : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.mozilla.firefox&hl=en The older chrome is likely still on the device but if you can default URL links to open with Firefox you should be all set Raul On 3/4/2013 12:31 PM, Jerry Clancy wrote: > Chris, just a point of clarification.
