Are the plans for a FreePascal version which will work on Linux as well?

Question does not really apply. EWB generates javascript from Object
Pascal like language so it works on any browser that supports javascript
on windows, linux, iOS, Android etc.

EWB IDE itself is windows only (though likely runs on Wine) and same for
EWB Web Server (though considering ElevateDB server now has a linux
version i would assume EWB web server port might be coming as well)

Are you talking about the IDE, the web server, or the actual EWB
applications ?

We've got a PHP layer for Linux/Apache coming out with the next release that
works with the EDB PHP Extension on Linux (32-bit now, but 64-bit soon).  So
you can use that with low-cost hosting solutions to implement datasets and
ElevateDB databases (including replication, etc.).
