Jan Ferguson Data Software Solutions, Inc. ![]() | I installed the new version (2.05B1) today and I receive the following error message twice each and every time I try to start the program:
Module C:\Program Files\Elevate Web Builder 2\bin\datasetmodule\win32\datasetmodule.dll does not exist. That file does install and it does exist. I have uninstalled EWB twice and reinstalled each time and I still get this error message. Once I click *OK*, the message comes back a second time. After I click *OK* a second time it goes away. I am not using any databases or datasets in the three projects I use EWB for. Even with that said I have tried making sure that no project is open when I start EWB but it doesn't matter...I still get the two identical error messages. I have made sure that I uninstalled the EWB v2.04B1 Modules to no avail. Is anyone else having this issue? Installed on a Win7 Professional, 32 bit machine. Thanks for any input. | |

Jan Ferguson Data Software Solutions, Inc. ![]() | Disregard my message below. I figured it out. In previous versions of EWB it appears the folder and file were named "datasetmodule". However in EWB v2.05b1 the folder and file are name "databasemodule".
The previous folder/file were in my environmental options, I would imagine, from my previous installs of EWB v2.x. I removed that entry and added the new file location and I no longer get the error messages. I kept missing the nuance of the different names as they were so similar (dataset vs database). Even as I said and believed I saw "dataset" my mind was playing a trick on me. Just an FYI in case anyone else has this "issue". Not seeing it here but i did install it from beta 2.05 not to mention i'm on 64bit Win10. However have you checked Environment -> Options and then "Internal Web Server Modules" tab and remove any modules from there. The one you're referring to is example one so once you have removed the module i would suggest restart EWB and then run Help->"Install Example Applications" and it should re-add the example modules. in my case it re-added the PDF, database and login module (and since i'm on Win10 it's c:\program files (x86)\... path). rbaroniunas Baron Software | I believe all you have to do is remove the INI file in your users \ elevate folder and the file is rebuilt when EWB is restarted. I had that when I download the trial version and then went with the production release after purchasing.

<< I installed the new version (2.05B1) today and I receive the following error message twice each and every time I try to start the program: >> My apologies - I forgot to mention this in the release notes. The name of the "datasetmodule" EWB Web Server module has changed to "databasemodule", so you'll need to correct this in the Environment Options under the Internal Web Server Modules tab. Just remove the datasetmodule and then click on OK. Then, make sure to run the Install Example Applications link on the Help menu, and you'll be all set for running the example applications with 2.05 and won't have that error anymore.
