Could it be sampel data issue ?

A assuming i'm looking at the right database (ExampleData) it points to
"C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elevate Web Builder
2\Projects\exampledata") but i don't have such a folder.

Install example applications does not appear to copy it (based on log
output in IDE).

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Elevate Web Builder 2\examples" folder is empty
with no DBISAM tables there.

your spot on, no data for example

My understanding is that the master-detail example is a part of EWB1.  The master-detail sample does not appear to be included with EWB2.

In my case "C:\Program Files (x86)\Elevate Web Builder
2\examples\masterdetail" folder exist with project files

and when using the help menu to install example applications EWB2 does
copy it :

Master-Detail Database Example application project copied to the
"C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elevate Web Builder
2\Projects\masterdetail" project folder

I was looking in the directory that had older versions of the sample programs.

As you said, the exampledata directory is empty.  I have copies of the missing data files.  Even with the data files present, I am still receiving the same error as you - Persistent load error (Unable to set property 'oncustomerordersrowchanged' of undefined or null reference).

The MasterDetailDB unit has the associated file MasterDetailDB.wbs.

Should there also be the file MasterDetailDB.wbd as well?  If so, it is not present.

Yeah, this also got missed by the installations.  Build 2 will fix this, also.
