Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | I have attach a small project base on Erick Engelke example in his book Using EWB .... Run project. Click Attach Editor - it appears and you can edit. But if you try something like add a Table (click editor button) the popup dialog appears but you cannot enter any values. All popups associated with the editor do not work. Does the editor have to be loaded differently to get this to work - or is it not compatible with how EWB framework is operating? Walter Attachments: BasicEdit.zip |

Uli Becker | Walter,
> I have attach a small project base on Erick Engelke example in his book Using EWB .... His approach doesn't work. I had the same problem some time ago and asked for his help, but he couldn't fix it. I have spent less money for better books BTW. ![]() What I use now is based on sample code by Mark Brooks. Unfortunately I have no time until next Tuesday, but then I can post a working sample app. Here the link of Mark Brook's post (I just see that it was you asking for his code <vbg>): http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=ewb&id=ewb_general&page=1&msg=2943#2943 Hope that helps. Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | Uli:
Thank you for confirming my thoughts. I had it working in EWB 1. Thought I would try the book example as it looked simpler. I have it working following the Mark Brooks example now in 2.06. Interestingly it is not working in IDE but does in browser. hmm .... Walter |

Uli Becker | Walter,
fine that it works for you now. I'll check out a test application that I used some time ago. If you are still interested I can post the project. Uli |

Walter Matte Tactical Business Corporation | Using the Mark Brooks patter - with 2.06b1 the Ckeditor does not appear in the IDE, but does in IE and Chrome when I server up the app from a web server.

My book sample stopped working in 2.06 beta, I did not spend a lot of time on it because Tim said he was looking into more editor features in the built-in editor. Erick http://www.erickengelke.com |
