I was re-arranging a set of components in a panel. I set the panel to auto-width, and then added a radio button. The second in the layout was a text edit which is set to stretch right. I didn't spot that, but set it to consume right, and off the IDE ran incrementing the width all the way up to 16000+ and then crashing. Minor thing, but perhaps worth pondering sometime.

I'll see what I can do, thanks.

I'm not seeing this here at all.  When I do the same thing, I end up with the panel simply auto-sizing to the size of the radio button, with the width of the edit control being ignored.

Was there another setting that I'm missing ?

Quite possibly. Ignore it until some harder evidence comes up.
