Eivind | Gents,
When I started work on some functionality that worked "well" in EWB2" I run into some issues with sorting a bound grid. This happens when I close the dataset or call LoadRows() again. Either if I click the header and sort the grid or set the sort direction for the column in code, the "List Index 1 out of bounds" appear once the dataset is being closed or re-loaded. This error just hangs and pops up all the time I have tried to remove the sorting but once sorted this error always appear. This is quite a key functionality for the Grid if you ask me and I find it a bit strange that this has not been addressed yet. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Thanks and best regards Eivind Brenne |

Trinione | I know this is not an answer to your question regarding built-in TGrid, however ErirckE's Nice Component has recently added the Tabulator library and may be of interest to you:

Yea, that could be a solution. Some time ago I did buy the EWB2 version of the Nice Components. I will send an email and ask for an update |

Eivind | Would still be good to get the original TGrid fixed or find out a workaround for these errors

Eivind | Does any of you have any news on when the next build of EWB is scheduled to be released? The Grid and List index out of bounds error kind of prevents me from releasing a new version to my customer now.
On top of that the list index out of bounds happens not only when I try to sort the dataset bound to a grid but is also happens when I call Database.Rollback. If the dataset is not bound to the grid this error does not happens. So yea, kind of desperate here now. I have done too much work in EWB3 now to revert back to V2. Br Eivind Brenne |

Anyone tested if the List Index out of bounds error for bound grids has been resolved? I'll get a hold of the newest versjon in a week or so I guess. Thanks Eivind |
