IQA | Hi Tim,
I've been having a play with Web Builder, and have been getting this error since I installed it, but thought it had something to do with the ElevateDB server running as the same time, so just ignored it and continued on... But I've just tried turning off the ElevateDB Server that was running, and ran WebBuilder again and still get this error message. It has to be something on my machine as no one else has reported. Is it cause I'm running XAMPP on my PC which I use to test PHP / mySQL stuff locally? Thanks, very excited about WebBuilder, I should be purchasing in a while as I have an up and coming project that would suit this environment very well. Phil. Attachments: error.png |

IQA | If I change the port from 80 to 85 it's fine, so I'm just guessing its
clashing with XAMPP |

The 1.01 release of EWB will have a better error message when this occurs, but for now just make sure to change the port number in the Environment/Options/Web Server page. To find out which application is listening on port 80, just use: netstat -a -b from the command prompt (Administrator required). If you have any other questions, please let me know. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com Good Afternoon Mr. Young this is in reference to Todays Post Port 80 in use. I am sorry that I didn't search the forum before posting the message. I am having the same problem. I have like about 20 services runing on port 80. I went to Web Builder Envirnment, Options, Web Server and change it to port 90. I also did the same to the server. I get no errors, however when I run any of the Sample projects including with the trial version, I get an empty page. Thanks for the help Regards, Carlos |

Ronald | Hi,
Perhaps you are running IIS, which also listens on port 80. Greetings, Ronald "Phil" schreef in bericht news:9B395949-0926-46B0-9DD1-D95F85A622E4@news.elevatesoft.com...
