Can I ask whether there are plans to allow the help to be opened outside of the IDE
any time soon? I can't sensibly use it as-is stuck in the cramped IDE on my 17"
monitor (and my other monitor isn't where I want the IDE). I'd like a search
facility too.

Also, could the PDF version have active links please? I don't know if you are using
something like Help & Manual, but being able to click on items in the contents and
jump to the appropriate page is "normal" nowadays.

I hope to be doing a big project using Web Builder, so will have lots of
constructive criticism to come! 8-)  Is there an update due any time soon? I've
been out of it for a while so haven't seen a recent roadmap.

The two options on that front are the HTML help on the web site and the PDF
files.  The manual in the IDE is probably going to stay the way that it is.

I have to re-write the PDF generation code for this to happen, and that's
been something that I've been wanting to do for some time.  It's all part of
the build system's document generation, so something like Help and Manual
isn't in the cards, unfortunately.

I'm doing a new build hopefully today, but no, there probably won't be a new
update until the new component architecture is done.

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

My thought was that you might be able to "unparent" it to let it float. That's what
I did with one app of mine. (In fact, all I appear to do on mine is to set the
FormStyle to fsNormal, instead of MDI. But yours is a tabbed solution so
different.)

I found afterwards that you do indeed have search in the IDE version, but the
button is half hidden by some text due to the scrunching of the middle section due
to my monitor. I shall, I think, look at a bigger monitor. Or moving the IDE to my
larger monitor, but I use that for other stuff.

The help navigation is hidden by a text string showing the help path, which I think
is actually pretty useless to most people. How about making that a button with a
hint or something for when that is useful?

I'd also still like the IDE Close button check to catch if the debug browser is
active. Twice today I've closed the whole IDE while just meaning to close the
"debugger".
