Leslie | Tim, can you give an other status update on this?

Matthew Jones | It may be worth saying that "command line" support doesn't need to mean a normal
command line thing, just a way to pass in automation parameters to the IDE. So for example it might look for the parameters: /auto "D:\src\Myproject\MyProject.wbp" and then load that project, build it, and exit. If the IDE appears, so be it, I don't mind. /Matthew Jones/ |

Matthew Jones | Tim,
I realise that this is not a priority, but I've been experimenting with automating EWB and given that there will have to be an update to 1.0.2, I hope this might squeeze in 8-). I can get it to do a compile and run by sending F9 to the editor, but my attempt to "press" Control too is not working. Would it be possible to add two more "simple" shortcuts to the IDE for compile and deploy please? Perhaps F7 and F5 (F5 being a standard for "refresh", which fits the deploy. Given that Ctrl-F9 is normal, then F7 would be an additional shortcut added using the shortcut component. Alternatively, and sort of WM_APP message that could be sent with a wParam to indicate the action - anything really. I can get the IDE to load a project file, I can set the file to compress, but I need to be able to at least compile and preferably deploy so that I can put it into a build system. I shall continue to experiment with getting Ctrl simulated, but any help would be most welcome. [update] I have managed to use SendKeys to do these things, but it is the least ideal of all as it needs focus. It can work though, so if you want to reject this then there is a workaround... /Matthew Jones/ |

I might add a deploy shortcut key, but the rest is just working around the fact that there isn't a command-line compiler, and I'd rather release that instead.
