Hi,

I have a strange problem with the ide of EWB. Maybe the problems relate.

1. If I choose Project > Options everything freezes and I have to kill the
task with the taskbar.
2. If I try to edit a property of a component of type TStrings it freezes
too.

I run Windows  8 and I have not had this before.

Could anybody think of anything where I should be looking for the problem?

Do the dialogs actually appear, or do you select it and then "nothing happens"? If
you click on the main window, does it beep at you?

I wonder if the windows are appearing "off screen" which might happen if you have
multiple monitors and the configuration changed. You can check this by doing the
action, and then press Alt-space. If a menu appears anywhere on screen use the
KEYBOARD to select Move, and then use the cursor keys to move the dialog. Press
Enter to finish. That's my guess anyway.

Oh, and it works onkay on Win8 here.

is off screen, bu that is not the case.

Could the dialogs be behind the main screen? Sounds like this is the issue to me (I
could be wrong though!).
