Before I put it into the output folder or upload it to my web I have to transform it to utf-8, otherwise I don't get the correct chars. If I use a Java applet for reading such file I can specify the charset to use. |

The web server tells the browser what type of content a given resource is, along with the encoding of the content. The browser uses this information to determine how to convert the string content into a Unicode string for use in the EWB application. So, you're going to have to figure out what web server your host is using, and then make sure to set it up so that the .csv files are using the correct content type/encoding.
