FileComboBox |

Nils Sorensen | Hello
I've put a FileComboBox on a HTMLForm in an application running on Android phones and tablets. When I tap it, it opens up a page giving the the user a choice between Camera,Documents etc. Whatever you choose, it transfers it to the EWB server perfectly. Trying the applicate on IOS, the FileComboBox will not open (I have changed 'isAndroid' to 'isIOS'). Anybody knows how to solve it? Nils |

<< Trying the applicate on IOS, the FileComboBox will not open (I have changed 'isAndroid' to 'isIOS'). >> Which version of iOS ? Also, you don't need to change anything related to the mobile detection code in EWB. The TFileComboBox control should work the same for both, without any special code. I'm still putting off the update on my iPhone. I found the issue and it's fixed for 2.01. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com Appreciate that you found the issue and will have it fixed in 2.01. I updated to IOS 8.4.1 before I read your post which didn't fix the problem. However I am quite sure that several of my customers already have updated their phones, but I trust your fix will work for both IOS versions and IOS 9 which I think is announced to be realeased later this autumn. Many thanks for responding so quickly. Nils |

<< I trust your fix will work for both IOS versions and IOS 9 which I think is announced to be realeased later this autumn. >> Yes, it's a general bug in EWB, and not something that is specific to Mobile Safari. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
