Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. ![]() | EWB 2.02 is now available for download from the web site. My apologies for the long delay: after two months of Sam being severely ill and in the hospital, I got a little rundown myself and had a bad cold for a couple of weeks, and that delayed things further than I would have liked. It's all good now, though.
![]() Please check out the blog post for the new features and breaking changes: http://www.elevatesoft.com/blog?action=view&id=elevate_web_builder_202_released Also, I posted a little sample application that shows off the new performance of the TGrid with lots of rows. The sample is querying/displaying an IP address range table by country: http://www.elevatesoft.com:8081/maxgridtest/maxgridtest.html Don't select the United States (39,000+ rows) on a tablet/phone, though. ![]() Finally, please use this thread to add any requests for upcoming features in 2.03 and higher. Right now, my main focus in 2.03 is going to be on the database/server side of things, primarily consolidating the way databases are defined on the server-side and how they are handled in projects. But, as always, I'll want to add at least a couple of new controls in 2.03, and I'm thinking that the best choices are a TMenuBar (horizontal menu bar) and a TTreeView. Yes please - especially looking forward to the latter (treeview). Raul |

+1 for TTreeview and a set of .wbi/.png for a more compact layout (smaller fonts, less margins, etc.) cu Christian |

Just had a look at the demo - nice, responsive once loaded - and I would like to thank you for putting United States where it belongs in the alphabet - one of my pet hatreds when I have to pick a country. Roy Lambert |

I think the balloon label needs to have alternative orientations, particularly pointing up, but perhaps also left and right. To have it explain things at the top of the form doesn't look right just now. -- Matthew Jones |

I want to specify a start and end time in a day for one project, and a slider with two markers would be ideal. Slide the first to the hour of the start (or quarter hour), and the second to the end time. Maybe that's too fancy though... 8-) -- Matthew Jones |

At the risk of repeating myself I would like to see the following: 1. Mouse resizable forms/panels at runtime. 2. Fixed columns and rows on the grid. 3. A treeview control. 4. A trackbar control. I work mostly with desktop style applications in the browser so the above would certainly help me. -- Rick |

Beside Ctrl-Shift-C (class completion) I have one more IDE request which I miss (coming from Delphi): * "Search in Files": text search in all files of a project optionally including all files in the library path. Personally I prefere the GExperts "Grep search", but like "Find in files" is fine. I don't need regular expressions; these options are important for me: (x) case sensitive (x) whole word (x) search in library path as well (x) search .wbf files (x) ignore comments It doesn't have to be fast, it should just be there in the IDE and with double click on a result line, the source file is opened in the IDE with cursor on this line. cu Christian |
