Applying a new "theme"? |

Matthew Jones | One nice thing in EWB1 was that you could switch skins very easily to
change the look of the site. I thought that was the same with EWB2, but it seems to get rather stuck with whatever you have created the components with. The form file contains things like the colours, and changing them in the library doesn't then update them. Which is sort of fine, but is there a way to tell the IDE to revert to defaults for a component, and thus adopt the theme settings? What is the expected way to do this? -- Matthew Jones |

If you mean the interface then you can select the control in the visual designer in the IDE and click the tool bar button above it. If you mean the Object Inspector properties then I don't know of a way. I assume that you mean specific properties only as resetting left/top, etc. might be unwelcome. -- Rick |

That is indeed what I meant, and as usual Tim had the solution waiting. Only thing I'd suggest is that these buttons should be on the menu somewhere too, so they are discoverable. I didn't even see the "Initialize" button before you said it was there, and then I went looking. Thank you! -- Matthew Jones |
