Uli Becker | I added some FontIcons to a project. When loading the application with
Crome, these icons are messed up on the first load. After a refresh everything looks fine. IE and Firefox work fine. Clip1: Chrome 1st load on a desktop computer Clip2: Chrome 1st load on an Android tablet Clip3: Chrome after refresh Regards Uli Attachments: Clip1.png Clip2.png Clip3.png |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | I have created my application with Cordova and it looks fine on mobile
phones but on my 10" tablet the icons are only showing the first few pixels from the left hand side as well. Uli Becker | Tim,

Nothing - I just juse the latest version as it is (<<By default, 2.04 includes/embeds the OpenType version of the icon font with every project, and that is the 85KB version.>> ) I even wouldn't know how to change the embedded version. Please send me a test project that illustrates the issue along with your customized icon library, and I'll take a look. Also, you could try the WOFF icon font instead to see if that changes anything for you. You can select it via the Project/Options/Compilation/Icon Font. The WOFF font file is in the same directory as the OTF font file. If this doesn't change anything, then there's something else going on besides a font incompatibility in the browser. Uli Becker | Tim,
> Please send me a test project that illustrates the issue along with your customized icon library, and I'll take a look. When I tried to create a test project on my laptop I could't replicate the issue any more. Back on my desktop computer I compiled the same test application and the issue was back again. It seems that at least one customized interface causes the problem, since the problem goes away when I use the default interfaces (except TIconlibrary off course). It'll take me some time to find out what's going on there. So Chris' problem seems to be different. > Also, you could try the WOFF icon font instead to see if that changes anything for you. I did that - no change. Uli |

Uli Becker | Tim,
ok, here are the interfaces which messed up the whole thing: tscrollbarleftbutton.wbi tscrollbarrightbutton.wbi These are modified interfaces from an older version and they don't know the new FontIcon element. No idea what happened exactly, but replacing these interfaces with the default ones solves the problem. Just to be sure: The order of search paths when building the library is: 1. Project path 2. Compiler search paths of the project ( Project | Options | Compilation | Search Paths ) 3. Library paths of the environment (Environment | Options | Component Library | Search Paths) Is that correct? Thanks Uli |

<< ok, here are the interfaces which messed up the whole thing: >> Hmm, that doesn't seem right. If those aren't correct, then it should only affect the scroll bar icons. << The order of search paths when building the library is: >> No, the search paths for the library are only the library search paths in the Environment/Options/Component Library/Search Paths. When building the *application*, the order is as you describe. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Uli Becker | Tim,
> Hmm, that doesn't seem right. If those aren't correct, then it should only affect the scroll bar icons. I was able to reduce it to a small sample project and send you the files by mail. > When building the *application*, the order is as you describe. OK, that's what I meant actually. Thanks. Uli |
