If you shrink the IDE messages output box down so only 3 or so lines are able to be shown without scrolling, hit CTL-F9 to compile, the output gives a sort of corrupted, fuzzy effect. You don't get this if the box is bigger, and it doesn't seem to happen if nothing has changed in your code to compile.

Makes no odds whatsoever. I've just got writer's block...

I'm not seeing that here, so I suspect it's a Windows/graphics driver combo issue on your machine.
