Setting up server during install |

"Robert Rowlands" | Hello
I use InstallShield. After the files have been copied (including dbsrvr.exe to System32) a small application is run that logs into the server, changes the log in and password and sets a couple of paths to the databases. On some machines it fails and the server remains unconfigured. The application then fails with 'DBISAM Engine Error # 11280 A connection to the database server at '127.0.0.1' cannot be established.' Is it OK to set up the server during installation? Has anyone any suggestions? Thanks. Rob |

Did you get any logs from InstallShield regarding why the installation didn't complete ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
