Norman L. Kleinberg
OK. I give up.

I had been using DBISAM 4.26 C/S (successfully) in one version of my software but had
stopped development on that version for awhile. I am now getting back to some more
development and for the life of me I can't log into the server, something I used to do all
the time. The default login info I have is User Name: Admin, Password: DBAdmin (latter
case-sensitive).

To make sure I wasn't making a REALLY stupid mistake I downloaded and installed the latest
build (4.26 Build 3) and installed it on my development machine, all with default info
(e.g. Admin Port 12006, IP 127.0.0.1). I switched off the firewall, fired up the Server
Admin utility, entered the IP and Port in Options and tried to Log In. The User
Name/Password dialog comes up, I type in the default info and bingo! Error 11276.

Has the default info changed (probably not) or is there something really simple that I've
forgotten (more likely)?

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Norman L. Kleinberg
Thanks, Rita, for posting.

I did a complete reinstall and that took care of it.

I've GOT TO keep a record of those credentials. Smile
