Hi Tim,

I was just wondering if there is a Linux based version of the DBISAM
server component available. Was unable to find one in my list of downloads.

Cheers

There is no linux based version available at this time. While not
officially supported by Elevate i have run the windows version
successfully with Wine. It has not been thoroughly tested (single digit
number of client connections only) but seems to work fine.

The DBISAM-CLX products include a DBISAM Server for Linux.  However, they
use Kylix 2 and 3, and may or may not work on newer versions of Linux like
OpenSuse and Ubuntu.

Hi Rual and Tim

Thanks for the replies. In short - it appears possible, but no guarantees.

That's all I need to know for now.

Have a great weekend!
