I have installed DBISAM on a machine that has both Delphi 7 and XE.  During the install for the two compilers I have seemed to lost my SCF file.  Although I have backups, I am wondering if there is a way to restore the contents of a SCB file. Can these configuration files be shared for both D7 and XEs on the same machine.

Are you referring to the dbsrvr scf file ? If so then its the dbsrvr
config file and has nothing to do with Delphi.

It's just used but dbsrvr itself so if you have a copy of it then just
copy it back to dbsrvr folder. SCB is the backup for it - just rename to
scf if you want to use it.

Sharing - not sure what you're asking here !? It's dbsrvr config file so
yes single instance with single dbsrvr can be used with both delphi
versions.
