Nothing here.

Same here.  Please post if you hear back from him.  He does like to travel,
so he could just be out of reach for now.

Hi Guys,

I am alive and well Smile .. sorry Rita, never saw you email (I wasn't just
being rude)

I have been out of the country again (for almost 3 months this time) ..
Cambodia, China and Nepal this time. Unfortunately, the travel bug has a
serious hold on me.

Work is also very busy (when I'm at home), so I don't get a chance to visit
the NGs regularly. I'll try to check in more often.

Best regards

Steve

Hi Tim,

> You stink. Smiley

I certainly did after more than a week trekking in the himalayas with
minimal opportunity to bathe WinkBTW, Nepal is an absolutely amazing country
... I'd head back there is a heartbeat!

I'll be stuck at home for about another 12 months (gotta fund my travel
somehow) before setting of on our next adventure, so I'll be checking in
regularly.

Best regards

Steve

Well, if you do, be sure and check back in before you leave so that we can
send you some more DBISAM or ElevateDB gear to wear and take pictures of.
That reminds me, I think it's time to get some promo ElevateDB gear done.

Work whats that ? I sorta retired this year after a nightmare journey into
the server rental biz. I had a full cabinet my own 1u servers built at home
and a Cisco kid who knows it all. I got a room in a server farm near me.
Then 1st off the Cisco kid was offered a good job so he was not my
partner any longer. Then I got hit with a virus I can only guess how.
So I cleaned it all up and came out selling the full rack on to someone
else. Now since I sorta retired everyone who knows phones up saying
hey ree as u aint workin can u help with a small this or that. I have been
workin on an ebay clone and some bookie programs for my oldmans
friend. A spin off to my bookie stuff was a program based on Al Capone's
Dutch calculator for backing more than one horse in a race and hopefully
making a fixed profit from your fancies. Try it at

Nice to see u back again safe and sound.

A couple of years ago my daughter and her friends went to an open air pop
concert event we have overhere called Glastonbury, I overheard her saying
to her friend Laura will there be somewhere to plug my hair dryer into after
I have a shower seeing we will be sleeping in tents. I was on the stairs
peeing
myself her friend also cracked up. My daughter looked suprised I told her
u pee behind a tree and the only shower u get will be rain and it always
rains.
Stinking is good my chiro guy told me to leave my feet for ages I had them
in polly bags when I bathed. True my feet cl;eared up nice no more cracked
skin.
Now my good news in May I won a whole load of dough playing poker on
FullTilts online site. I have bought a house outa the proceeds it belonged
to an old lady who died in the street. Anyway it hasnt seen any work and is
stuck in the 1950's I'am having it flipped if I like it I may move back up
north
if not I will sell it.

Hi Rita,

Great to hear from you! I've been a bit slack in visiting here of late.

We have a friend over there whose son is at uni doing event management and
did a work placement at Glastonbury last year .. looked like the sort of
environment that makes pigs happy .. never seen so much mud in my life!!

Wow, won enough to money to buy a house .. lucky Rita! Maybe I should take
up online poker Wink

Best regards

Steve

Hi Rita,

> Oh! u didnt die then my voodoo doll must be broken. Wink

I've got a bad neck at the moment, can you at least remove that pin then?
Smile

I am a bit of a crossroads with KB .. I have been in the process of
rewriting it for about 2 years, but my travel and the long-term contract I
have (with a very buttoned-down intellectual property clause) make it hard
for me to do much.

I have rarely felt threatened travelling in SE Asia, lots of ripoff attempts
(just coz you are not a local) but I have long ago learnt the art of barter.
Back in the 80's I was in a couple of places that I'd think twice about
going to now, but Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China and Nepal feel
perfectly safe to me. It's also amazing how easy it is to stay in contact
while over there, .. heaps of internet cafes (real cheap and sometimes free
wifi) .. sometimes dodgy connection or speed, but good enough to ping home.

> Work whats that ? I sorta retired this year

Lucky you! I have 8 months until I can officially retire (55). The
government is trying to play funny buggers with retirement age and access to
self-funded super here. They want to stop access until you reach 67!!! If
there's any possibility of that going through, I will be out the door in a
flash, lock in my super and then work 2 or 3 days a week.

> Nice to see u back again safe and sound.

Thanks mate. Keep well, and stop sticking pins into me!!
