I'm getting involved with a dog rehoming group up here in Caithness. The local council only gives 7 days grace to strays before they're put down. Before I start writing a membership database does anyone have software I can use as a base?

I don't have any code that you can use, but would like to say thank you for
donating your time for such a worthy cause.

Wow I missed this ok what have you got ? what do you
want ? software wise I mean.
Give us an outline of system requirements. I will see
what I can do in between my get rich bookies app.
Poor little fellas killer council nazi buggers.
My new doggie is starting to get on with my hubby now
after 21 months of him being attacked every time he
enters a room lol.
Have you not got a dogs trust in Caithness ?
Contact Paul O'Grady from telly show tell him what
the council do he will rip them apart on telly.

We're basically still trying to figure it out. Right now I'm using my recruitment app to hold members details.  Its going to be more me inventing something rather than the team defining a spec.

My wife's aunt who lives in Spain has the same problem with one of her dogs.

There's a few specialist ones (generally offshoots from bigger organisations like Labrador Rescue) but the problem isn't the councils but the SSPCA. Because their income fell they wanted to increase the charges to the council for accepting unclaimed strays from a total of £70 to nearly £300.
