Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Darren,
<< Apologies, beyond being unable to spell forgery, forgetting it was in frames, I also forget it needed registration - although its free I doubt you've much interest in the Irish Indo >> No problem, I just don't like that registration crap (personally) and really wanted to read the article. Thanks for the repost, and let's hope the copyright police don't get us. << Article follows, enjoy! >> I can see how one could pass bad forgeries in darkened clubs and restaurants. However, the most interesting part of the article for me was the term "Gardai". I had to look it up on Wikipedia (greatest web site ever), and I'll be damned if I never knew that the Irish police force was called that. I guess you learn something new every day. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Sam | Modern color laser printers will not print money any more. The U.S.
gov't forced manufacturers to recognize when currency is printed and will deliberately mask the printed bill. (I'm not sure if new scanners have this protection or not) Also color laser printers will print several yellow dots on every printed page which acts as a serial number. Any color print is easily traceable back to the person who sold you the printer. So if you're sending letters or pictures that could be embarrassing, don't use a color laser printer! Sam |
