Thread DBISAM Error 11010 - connecting to network database
Thu, Apr 20 2006 12:06 PMPermanent Link

Karen M
I am trying to connect to a mapped network database and get an error returned:

[Macromedia][SequeLink JDBC Driver][ODBC Socket][Elevate Software][DBISAM Database System] DBISAM Engine Error # 11010
Table 'Y:\income.DAT' does not exist

If I copy income.dat over to the local drive, it will return data without any problems.

Version 3.30
Windows server 2000

Thanks for any help you can give.

I should add - I am connecting with administrator with full rights and we do not use Nortons AV

Karen,
Is the ODBC connection being made by a web server?  If the web server is installed as a service & not running as an application, I don't
believe it will share any drive mappings associated with a logged in user ID.  If you have a DBISAM server session running on the remote,
you could expect it to connect OK, without having to rely on a mapping ...

Does the income table indeed reside in the root directory of the mapped Y:
drive ?  If so, do you have the proper rights to access it ?
