<< Let's visit the oracle. Here is a catholic country. We call it "Saint Google"... >> That's almost right. Can you imagine what life would be like for us tech guys if we were still stuck back in 1992 or earlier with no Internet or Google ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Tim,
>Can you imagine what life would be like for us >tech guys if we were still stuck back in 1992 or earlier with no Internet or >Google ? Right, indeed. In that times I was programming in MF-COBOL. My five Kilograms manuals were my only "online" help. But, despite "XP SP2 performance" raises a lot of topics in Google, none talk about indexed data files sharing issues. Do you know similar questions from another DBISAM users? I think OS running in server is also involved, but oplocks and other typical changes in server reg, have not effect. Currently I can't find a pattern of scenario with this problem. Just there are a problem with some installations and no problem with others, and clearly is not a hardware (included wires) problem. Thanks for reading the big text Tiago Ameller tiago put_an-a-_in_a_circle sistemasc.net Sistema, S.C. | |
