Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | John,
<< For what it's worth, I was installed latest DevEx QuantumGrid, and it really hosed the D2007 help file. So, I'm sure it's not just a DBISAM problem. Hope that makes you feel a little better >> A little, thanks. It still pisses me off that being a BTP doesn't buy us shit in terms of a technical "heads-up" to let us know that the help collections had changed in D2007 and what was required to adapt to the new changes. They never tell us anything, we always end up having to figure it out for ourselves. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

"Ole Willy Tuv" | Tim,
<< It still pisses me off that being a BTP doesn't buy us shit in terms of a technical "heads-up" to let us know that the help collections had changed in D2007 and what was required to adapt to the new changes. They never tell us anything, we always end up having to figure it out for ourselves. >> I understand what you're saying. They seem to never get it right. I switch from the Borland dev tool to VS/C# after the D8 and BDS2005 disasters, and is very happy with coding in C# and the .NET framework. I look forward to test EDB with the ADO.NET 2.0 framework and hopefully the next generation ADO.NET framework (Orcas) with support for the Entity Data Model and D-LINQ. Much more fun than coding for the "dated" TDataSet data access model. Ole Willy Tuv |
