"Henri" | Hi all,
A thread in the elevatedb.public about a visual querybuilder triggered me to ask these three questions. -1- Does the current version OpenQuerybuilder V1.03 work with DBISAM V4.x ? -2- Does the current version OpenQuerybuilder V1.03 work with Delphi2007pro ? -3- Does someone uses this visual querybuilder at all recently? Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Henri,
The OpenQueryBuilder v 1.03 does compile with D2007 Pro doing the following with the source code version: 1) Open the fqb100.dpk and save as fqb110.dpk. Compile it. 2) Open the dclfqb100.dpk and save as dclfqb110.dpk 3) Remove the reference to the FQB100.DCP and add a reference to the FQB110.DCP. 4) Compile and then Install. Yes, you could just compile and build the D2006 100's because they're compatible directly with D2007, but I prefer to have them named correctly for D2007. Regarding compatability with DBISAM V4.x or EDB. Right now, it doesn't look like it directly. I'm thinking of taking a look at seeing if that is something that can be done. I would probably start with EDB because that has been my focus at the moment, then work it backwards to DBISAM v4. "Henri" | Lance,
Thanks for your answers I think for now that Korzh's EasyQuery (aka SimpleQuery) is a better choice for me Henri "Lance Rasmussen [Team Elevate]" <lance@jazziesoftware.com> schreef in bericht news:348CC5B2-0F95-4C13-98C1-692F6B2AAAEC@news.elevatesoft.com... > Henri, > > The OpenQueryBuilder v 1.03 does compile with D2007 Pro doing the > following with the source code version: > 1) Open the fqb100.dpk and save as fqb110.dpk. Lance Rasmussen Jazzie Software Team Elevate | Henri,
I've actually been looking at that as well. From looking closer at the Fast Report version, I'm not all that wild about it and it looks much easier to deal with with Korzh's.
