How to upgrade the free FastReport 4 DBISAM V4 Components to DBISAM 4.26 |

TorB. | Hi!
I have downloaded this component from Steve Forbes homepage, but it is made for DBISAM 4.25. I have tried to upgrade this to 4.26 without success. Help somewhere? Kind regards TorB. |

Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Tor,
There shouldn't be any direct references to DBISAM versions in any of the package files (these will be added by the compiler when installing). You should be able to compile and directly install the components with DBISAM V4.26 without any problems. What error are you seeing? -- Best Regards Steve [Team Elevate] "TorB." <tor@datarommet.no> wrote in message news:1488F3EA-7897-4504-8DAE-5D8805305ADA@news.elevatesoft.com... > Hi! > I have downloaded this component from Steve Forbes homepage, but it is > made for DBISAM 4.25. > I have tried to upgrade this to 4.26 without success. > Help somewhere? > Kind regards > TorB. > |

Could you please explain what the DBIsam FastReport component does. I found
the download file but have no idea what it can do for me. Thank you, Craig "Steve Forbes [Team Elevate]" <ozmosys@spamfreeoptusnet.com.au> wrote in message news:8B8D7C09-6E44-4CE4-9C2B-0D2BA0595301@news.elevatesoft.com... > Hi Tor, > > Great news, thanks for letting me know! > -- > > Best Regards > > Steve > [Team Elevate] | |

Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Craig,
The components allow you users to create and manipulate datasets and queries *inside* your end-user reports. If you do not have end-user report creation then you do not need the components.
