Phil Read | Hi All,
I just tried to log into my panel and download RAD Studio (C++) 2009 but it says the download is unavailable at this time and SIZE is shown as 0 on the customer download screen. Any ideas when I can download this version of DBISAM ? Thanks, Phil. |

You can order a new support plan from the Customers area by clicking on the Product Support Plans link on the right and then clicking on the Add to Order link next to the support plan that needs to be renewed. When this is done, just click on the Complete Order link on the right to complete the order. After we process the order, you will be all set and the 4.27 and higher downloads will show up. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

In a nutshell I have an existing Borland C++ Builder V5 program that uses DBISAM. I now need to write a SOAP program which I can do easily using C++ Builder 2009 which also needs to access the same DBISAM database the V5 program is using. Is it perfectly OK to assume the database access will work perfectly between the 2 programs? Thanks, Phil. |

In fact, the later C++Builder (CodeGear RAD Studio) versions are much more seamless and error-free with respect to C++ code generation and usage, making them much easier to use with DBISAM. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Phil Read | Thanks Tim, I'm just about to order the support plan for DBISAM @ $59.00
and noticed there's a special offer for ElevateDB users with a current ElevateDB support plan. Does that mean I can get the DBISAM support plan for $29.00 by using that special offer? Thanks again, Phil. Tim Young [Elevate Software] wrote: > Phil, > > << In a nutshell I have an existing Borland C++ Builder V5 program that uses > DBISAM.
