Thor Warberg | Reportbuilder 10.02
Delphi 7 Table DBISAM 3.26 windows XP home ................................. My app is producing invoices and salary for an artseller. >: exhibition >> items It has been working fine for 4 years. Suddenly the app makes no invoices from the last exhibition, salary however comes fine. All the former exhibitions does report both invoices and salary. A fake new exhibition produces no invoices. - The problem appears also in Design mode of the Reportbuilder. The invoice is totally empty, no design items, no table-stuff. The item table is controlled. Where is the solution? Thor, Norway |

Yes, I have veryfied both tables, apparently no corruptions. Still both reports works fine for the former exhibitions. But the recent exhibition (nr 25): - the salary report appears fine. - the invoice report is empty. And I am getting lots of grey hairs. First ignore wether it verifies or not. Try repairing it and see if that sorts things out. If not you'll have to insert breakpoints in your code and see what's going on. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

Thor Warberg | Repair is also done.
The performance is just incredible. Two reports (invoice and salary) worked fine on the tables (exhibitions >> items) from exhibition 1 till 24. Then the invoice report produces nothing. The salary works fine. OK, I will set a breakpoint and see. Thor Roy Lambert wrote: First ignore wether it verifies or not. Try repairing it and see if that sorts things out. However, my first thought would be to look at the data in DBSys. Is it actually there, is it correct? You said <<The item table is controlled>> I assume you mean in a master-detail relationship? If so are the linking fields set correctly? I assume you're either using a filter or sql. When debugging make sure it is right - I've often left some bit of code in which has come back to bite me. Back on track again. Still deeply confused. Viewed the data in DBSYS, Everything looks normal. Invoicing works fine for exhibition 1-24, exhibition 25 provides NOTHING. Watch 2 enclosed photos.
