Reconstructing Data |

ClockOn | Hi
I was just curious on what the quickest way anyone can recommend for sending an entire database would be. For example, at the moment if we have an issue with a database and we need a copy of the data we will transfer the database via their internet connection to a 3rd party website or through a terminal session, etc... But some datasets are obviously quite large so even compressing and sending can take a while to receive. Now i have looked at the database reverse engineering feature, which would be great because its a much smaller text file, but this seems to be a bit slow with all the inserts it needs to complete to reinsert the data again. Is there a way to speed this up or an alternative solution? Hope that makes sense |

It's compressed, very quick, and will blow the doors off of trying to do reverse-engineering since it's a binary image instead of a textual one. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
