"kevanB" | Having go chrystal 9,2 working, the powers that be have decreed we are to
release using Chrystal XI (Delphi2005 Architect). Problem is that the visual linker does not list the fields. Have applied the delphi service pack, the chrystal service pack explicitly informs you not to apply to an OEM version, so any clues as to how/why? tia KevanB |

I'll have to see about getting upgrading our copy before I can comment further. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

I actually got it to work (eventually)... after adding the tables, I then needed to "verify" each table, at this point the fields became available and it was possible to renter the table link wizard and establish the links. What was (still) absent was index identifier (for auto links).. no biggie to be honest. In terms of aquiring CR XI, it is in Delphi2005 Architect already which is where I have the problem.. I have sourced a CR XI Developer edition so we'll see if it is in the "standard" product as well. btw, Business Objects suggest migrating to CRXI r2 (its free for CR XI users). |

Cool, that saves a couple of bucks. << btw, Business Objects suggest migrating to CRXI r2 (its free for CR XI users). >> Did they indicate that it would definitely fix the problem ? Or was it a "try this" type of proposal ? -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Or was it a > "try this" type of proposal ? It was more of a "not willing to discuss this further until you do" kind of conversation. I have yet to receive/find my free download link . KevanB |
