I have installed the ODBC driver for ElevateDB and have it connecting
via the server with no problem, but I cannot get it to connect directly
to a local path.

I have tried putting in the direct path e.g. "C:\MyData" which is says
does not exist.

I have also setup a database called "Test" in the EDBManager which
points to "C:\MyData" and setting the Database to "Test". I get a user
login screen but it will not let me login.

Where did you put the path ?  ElevateDB doesn't operate with direct paths
for databases other than what is specified via the CREATE DATABASE
statement.

Did you configure the ODBC driver first using the configuration utility ?

Did you specify the user name and password in the data source configuration,
or did you leave them blank ?  Also, are you using the default Administrator
login, or something else ?

Chris,

BTW, you can post ElevateDB ODBC questions in the elevatedb.connectivity
newsgroup instead.
