Limited visibility of tables and fields in ODBC |

Mike | Hi there,
I'm considering purchasing the ODBC driver for DBISAM. I was just wondering about whether it's possible to limit the visiblity of certain tables and fields that users can access via the driver? Specifically, there are a couple of tables and some fields in other tables (such as passwords) that I would prefer users not be able to read into something like Excel. Is there a way of controlling what is accessible via the driver? Thanks! Warm regards, Mike. |

Of course, if you need help with that, I can certainly provide any assistance that is needed. It's a rather simple fix to isolate and exclude certain fields in certain tables. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
