Hi Tim,
I have noted (latest 4.xx release) that creation of table with sql is slower
that the same table created from code;
for the exactitute, the same table that is created in dbisam 3 delphi
code.....is faster a lot of  the same creation in Sql with release 4; (I am
in porting from dbisam 3 to 4, changed table code generation with SQL
commands);
There is a reason, bug, etc...?
Or table creation is slower in Dbisam 4 in general?

How much of a difference are we talking about ?  The creation of a table
usually only takes a few milliseconds, at most, so if you're seeing more
than that then there's something else going on (hard drive, etc).

I will try with the current application in porting;
The slowdown I have noted is on a application that I don't manage
directly....so I don't known if there are particular events or similar in
that application....
So, I will try directly in my current application, so I could be more
precise......
