I don't know if you intend to look at it for DBISAM, but I'd hope you'll at
check if the performance is present in ElevateDB also.

Other engines run these queries in a very few seconds.

It is present in both currently since both execute the queries in the same
fashion.  Basically, they need a couple of "shortcuts" that aren't in there
yet.
