"Santy Concepción" | Hi!
I have one table (local or C/S) with thousands of records (string, boolean, integer, etc...). I need to get the MAX value of one of the fields. Which is the best/faster method? "select MAX(field) from Table" "select field from Table order by field" and then doing a "Query.Last" "select field from Table order by field DESC" "Using a Table, not a Query?" Which is the better method in Local/Shared mode? Which is the better method in C/S mode? Note: "Field" is an INDEXED Integer Field Thanks! |

At least for me using table with correct index *ALWAYS* be faster than queries. Doesn't matter if is C/S or not. Eduardo |

"Santy Concepción" | Ok...
Do you mean using a "Table.Last" ? Another opinion? Thanks!
